Bellbrae Cemetery was established in 1864 primarily with monumental graves. Over time, and to meet community requirements, as well as complement our beautiful rural setting we have expanded the options.
We offer a range of choices designed to suit every family’s wishes, structured to care for our beautiful local environment:
- Bodily Remains: Families have a choice of traditional, lawn, or headstone-only memorial plots specifically designated for full-body burials
- Cremated Remains: Ashes may be placed within our our dedicated memorial gardens or our natural under-tree gardens. Additionally, we offer specialised burial plots designated for ‘Cremated Remains Only’ in areas where nearby tree roots or environmental impacts prevent full-body interments.
Rock and Bench seats can also be dedicated in memory of loved ones. This option does not include interment rights but a plaque may be installed.
